Compatible Docking Stations for Inspiron 16 5630
Can I use a Dell Universal Dock UD22 via USB-C thunderbolt port with my Inspiron 16 5630? My concern was that the laptop needs a 65W power delivery, and the dock delivers 96W of power. Will the dock feed too much power into the laptop and cause damage? Please excuse my lack of knowledge with wattage.

The system will draw only as much power as it needs, and not more, so it's perfectly fine to use a dock that can supply 100W to the system (the reverse is where the problems arise -- trying to use a dock that supplies less than the required power input will cause problems).
