3008WFP, Nvidia RTX 3080, DP audio not working
3008WFP plays digital audio from a HDMI cable
3008WFP does NOT play digital audio from a DP cable
That is the same graphics card being used for both. so the monitor for some bizarre reason disables audio for DP even though the cable and card DEFINITELY send it (Nvidia RTX 3080).

This is a very old 15 year old monitor. Did DP audio ever work? Are you using a standard DP to DP cable? Did you enter Windows Sound and change the Output to 3008WFP DP? What speakers are you connecting to the 3008WFP?
