Inspiron 530 ATA disk in XPS

I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with WDC WS5000AAKS-00UU3A0 ATA disk and second hdd Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 disk. I plan to buy a XPS desktop. Will the 2 hdds from my inspiron 530 fit in the new XPS including the power and data cable?

Both of the mentioned hard drives are 3.5" SATA drives. As newer desktop systems adapt the smaller, more efficient solid state drives, there is a good chance that the case will not be designed to accommodate 3.5" drives, or that the motherboard will contain any on board SATA connectors. You might want to look at the corresponding specifications and service manual before buying your next system to determine if it accepts 3.5" drives and contains on board SATA connectors. If it does, it will probably be limited to one drive bay, and not 2 like the Inspiron 530.

If you plan on re-using these drives for additional storage or for backups, consider purchasing 3.5" external drive enclosures. That way you can continue to use your drives via USB, and connect them to other devices if desired. If you plan to simply transfer data off of these drives and onto another computer or drive, you can purchase a SATA to USB adapter and use a single one with both drives. (Basically the same as the enclosure, but without the enclosure.)
