Superb image quality at any focal length
One aspherical element and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements in a precision optical design suppress aberration throughout the lens's zoom range, including chromatic aberration that can be an issue at super-telephoto focal lengths. Excellent sharpness and rendering are achieved at all focal lengths, throughout the image area.

I purchased the 6400 model only because the unlimited video function. Battery life is a big pain. To bad that the body is not stabilized.
